The Simon Konover Company and Team Simon Konover has kicked off its 2018 Camp Challenge Campaign to benefit The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford, Connecticut.
Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is a community dedicated to providing “a different kind of healing” to seriously ill children and their families, free of charge. The Simon Konover Company’s relationship with the Camp began over 30 years ago when Simon Konover constructed the first buildings. Today, Team Simon Konover continues Simon Konover’s legacy as a lead sponsor of the annual Camp Challenge charity event. The 10th annual event will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 and feature 15-mile and 30-mile scenic bike races, the Bandit 5K run/walk and a 3-mile Grit ‘N Wit adventure race.
Since the event was first held in 2009, Team Simon Konover has raised over $1,000,000 for The Hole in Wall Gang Camp. Once again, The Simon Konover Company is reaching out to our generous employees, partners, colleagues and friends to support this incredible community.
