The Simon Konover Company (TSKC) announced the acquisition of 151 residential units within Greenfield Village in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. K Greenfield Village, LLC, an affiliate of TSKC, acquired the units on December 20, 2016.
Greenfield Village is a 231-unit garden-style condominium community located on approximately 20 acres. TSKC acquired 151 of the units and Konover Residential Corporation will manage the units as a rental community.
The property includes a mix of one and two-bedroom well-appointed apartments, as well as onsite parking, laundry facilities, an outdoor swimming pool, barbecues and picnic areas. The property abuts Stepny Place, a 171-unit apartment community owned by an affiliate of TSKC. Residents of Greenfield Village and Stepny Place have shared access to swimming and tennis facilities at the respective communities.
“The multi-family market continues to be a fundamental focus of our development and investment efforts,” said James Wakim, President and Chief Operating Officer of The Simon Konover Company. “This acquisition is an excellent addition to our portfolio given its proximity to other TSKC assets in the area.”
