Once again, employees of The Simon Konover Company rallied to gather school supplies to support the Capitol Region Education Council (CREC) Back-to-School effort to support Hartford area school children. TSKC collected notebooks, pencil cases, composition books, pens, markers, pencils, rulers, water bottles and all kinds of school supplies.
Brooke Wilcox and Kristine Victor spearheaded the initiative for the TSKC supply collection. They organized, packed up and dropped off the supply donations in Hartford and helped to stuff the 1,200 backpacks. The backpacks filled with supplies were given to children between the ages of 3 and 17 at the CREC Block Party event so the children are ready for the 1st day of school.
