The Simon Konover Company, together with their partner Peter Guille, has donated 13 acres of developable land in Ledyard, Connecticut to Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut.
The land, purchased over a decade ago, is located off Colonial Ledyard Highway and Colby Drive within walking distance of Ledyard Center. The land was previously approved for a 35-unit residential development. Habitat for Humanity of Eastern Connecticut plans to build single-family affordable homes on the land.
“We, together with our partner, are delighted that this land meets Habitat for Humanity’s needs,” said James Wakim, President and Chief Operating Officer of The Simon Konover Company. “The decision to donate the property is consistent with our ongoing philanthropic efforts.”
