The Simon Konover Company and Team Simon Konover has kicked off its 2016 Camp Challenge Campaign in support of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford, Connecticut.
Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford, Connecticut, is a community dedicated to providing “a different kind of healing” to seriously ill children and their families, free of charge. The Simon Konover Company’s relationship with the Camp began 28 years ago when Simon Konover constructed the first buildings. Today, Team Simon Konover continues Simon Konover’s legacy as a lead sponsor of the annual Camp Challenge Ride and Bandit 5K series, a charity cycling, running and walking event.
The 2016 Camp Challenge Ride and Bandit 5k will be held September 10, 2016. Once again, The Simon Konover Company is reaching out to its partners, colleagues and friends to support this incredible community. In honor of Simon Konover and the legacy he helped build so many years ago, Team Simon Konover has set an aggressive goal of sending 50 children to camp, at a cost of $2,500 each.
