Konover Hotel Corporation (KHC) held its annual Year-End Summit to recognize and celebrate achievements during 2015. The annual event is a featured component of the Konover KARES (Konover Awards Recognize Excellent Service) Certification and Recognition Program that promotes professional growth and recognizes superior performance within the KHC organization.
Annual Konover KARES (KK) awards were presented to high performing staff within the KHC portfolio. Award winners were:
- Pete Budaj, Owners Representative, was recognized as KHC’s Most Supportive Team Member based upon teamwork and overall commitment to the company.
- Juice Majewski, Maintenance Worker, Super 8, Adrian, MI, was recognized as Associate of the Year for outstanding performance and customer service.
- Sara Frost, Housekeeping Administrator, Super 8, Adrian, MI, was recognized for exemplary performance as Manager of the Year.
- Two KHC general managers were honored with the KK General Manager of the Year award: Keith Kozierowski, Gneral Manager, Holiday Inn Express, Roseville, MI; and Jamie Beach, General Manager, Holiday Inn Express, Adrian MI.
Peter H. Mason, CHA, Executive Vice President of Konover Hotel Corporation, hosted the conference and awards ceremony. The event was held at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House in Gross Pointe Shores, MI. KHC designed and implemented the Konover KARES Certification and Recognition Program to offer guidelines for performance and skill-set goals as well as recognition for meeting and exceeding those goals. The program is intended to help attract and retain superior associates.
